Délice De Bourgogne
This delicious triple-cream cheese is a tribute to small scale industrial French cheese-making.
Produced by Fromagerie Lincet in Burgundy this cheese is similar to other French classics such as Brillat Savarin or Explorateur.
Made by blending full fat cow's milk with crème fraîche this is a very soft, rich, smooth and velvety cheese with a melt in th mouth texture. When ripe, it's as fluffy as whipped crème fraîche.
It has a thin white, bloomy rind with a pungent aroma, but don't be fooled as this only adds to the cheeses rich, creamy, buttery and tangy interior.
We think it's best spread over a slice of walnut bread with a chilled glass of Chablis.
